The Vacuum Extractor works by first placing the appropriate size tip on the end of the plunger and then pushing in the handle until you feel it lock into place. Position the tip over the head of the pimple or blackhead and then push the entire device in until it creates one pound of pressure.  This will cause the head to bulge up into the tip’s opening, and after this pressure is attained the plunger will instantly release allowing the vacuum chamber to easily suck out the fluid and the core.  The surrounding tissue is not affected, and the skin will heal quickly without leaving a blemish.

The Vacuum Extractor and its three soft, clear suction tips are kept in a plastic container which has three small compartments for alcohol sterilization.  Once the tips are sterilized and softened in hot water, insert the correct one on the end of the plunger.  The smallest tip is for extracting blackheads, the medium tip is for extracting acne and surface pimples, and the largest tip is for extracting embedded pimples or acne cysts.  After all of the blackheads, pimples, and acne have been removed, empty the used alcohol from the compartments to keep them clean and dry. Remove the plunger and wash it completely with hot water.  Lubricate the moving parts with Vaseline to assure a smooth operation.
